The Restored Order of the Sacraments of Initiation
Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Restored Order of the Sacraments of Initiation, which is now the norm in all parishes within the diocese, is invited to consult the Archdiocesan Website.
For all sacrament courses, please register one week prior to the first session date by calling the office.

Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation
Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation
Classes start October 1st for completion of your child's sacraments of initiation (which started at their Baptism) begin with the celebration of Reconciliation this Fall and then continues in the new year with Confirmation and 1st Eucharist. (Reach out to Cheri if your child needs baptism.)
Your child must have 1st Reconciliation to receive Confirmation and 1st Eucharist.
Preparation for these sacraments is an important step in your child's spiritual journey. You will take this faith journey alongside your child, working together to build a foundation that we hope will last a lifetime.
Registration forms with more information are available online for download, at the parish office, or at both entrances to the church. The cost for Sacrament Preparation is $60. Please return the form and fee to the school or church office by September 30, 2025. Fee can be split up, paying half in September and half in January 2026. Cash, cheque or e-transfer accepted. Make cheques payable to St. Martin de Porres. Let us know if cost is an issue.
Sacrament Preparation Schedule
NOTE: Weekly Sunday Mass attendance is mandatory for this program.
Meetings are in the Kinlin Room. Come in the hall entrance.
